The Artistic Committee serves for three years and meets once a year to review grant applications and to make funding decisions. The Committee is chaired by the Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy in the United States; the Director of AFAA serves as Vice Chairman. The Committee is composed of American and French theater professionals. A Program Officer facilitates the operations and activities of the Artistic Committee and plays a vital role in assisting organizations in developing new projects, advising potential partners, evaluating the eligibility of their projects for support, and promoting the Fund.
