HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT
1 – Download the Application Form 2012 [Word] and the corresponding financial annex :
Financial Annex [Excel] for humanities projects.
Financial Annex [Excel] for projects in fields other than humanities.
2 – Once you have filled the Application Form and the Financial Annex, one of the two project leaders shall upload the application.
For practical reasons, uploaded documents should be kept as concise as possible.
3 – You will receive an automatic confirmation that your application has been successfully uploaded.
APPLICATION FORM
All applicants are asked to prepare their application in English, the working language of the Fund and its Grant Review Committee. The online Application Form is composed of the following sections:
- Basic information about the project and the project coordinators (1 and 2).
- Selected quantitative indicators on the project (3).
- Information on other grants requested or already obtained for the project (4).
- Project description and rationale (5).
- Outcomes of the project (6).
- Additional information – for joint research projects only (7).
- A standardized budget presentation of the partnership over a three year period (8)
(Financial Annex Document).
SUBMISSIONS MUST ALSO INCLUDE
- A copy of the 501 (c)(3) form or any comparable document (for State Universities for instance) confirming nonprofit status for all American applicants, or the equivalent document for French applicants as well as a “letter of intent” from the Chancellor, the Head of the International Relations Office or from the Provost must be included.
- For American partners only: if the project is operated under the auspices of a fiscal sponsor, applications must include both the sponsor’s IRS determination letter and written confirmation of the fiscal sponsorship agreement.
- If possible, these documents shall be also uploaded together with the application form.
- Submission may also include additional documents as reports if relevant.
