PARTNERSHIP: University of Rouen / University of Nebraska, Lincoln College of Engineering
SUBJECT: Mechanics and Material Science

Since the beginning of their collaboration in the area of research in 2005, both universities have launched this dual Master’s program which allows students to complete approximately one half of their courseload at each institution and obtain a master’s degree from each. The strength of the collaboration lies in the clear complementarity between the universities. Nebraska has a comparative advantage in Mechanics and Rouen in Materials. Faculties teach on site but also use distance learning methods. Native graduate assistants are employed in order help the students overcome the language barrier.
