“The charismatic Pascal Greggory exhudes both manhood and feminity, power and frailty. His performance brings life to this chronically unwillful character, lost in the confusion of his senses.” Variety
la confusion des genres

Laurence, aware that she is getting older, would like to marry Alain, her forty-year old law partner, and start a family. Christophe, a young man in his early twenties, loves Alain, too. As if the story were not complicated enough, Alain is attracted to Marc, a young, sexy, and dangerous convict. The only way Alain can get close to Marc is to become the liaison between Marc and Babette, a young hairdresser… Alain will fall for her charms, too. The story focuses on Alain’s indecisiveness. Will he find a compromise acceptable to everyone? Men, women, sex, commitment and freedom are at the heart of this bittersweet comedy. Ilan Duran Cohen’s and Philippe Lasry’s dialogue is sharp and witty, and the straightforward cinematography lends a down-to-earth quality to the film.
